North Jersey Pride is a unique family-friendly event that brings together thousands of LGBTQ and straight allies from all over the Garden State to celebrate diversity and promote equality. Attendance has increased an astonishing 400% year over year since our inaugural event!
Come with a blanket or some beach chairs and spread out on the lawn. Enjoy the fabulous show—and worry not about little ones, because ALL our entertainment is kid-proof. Plus, we have a huge Rainbow Kids Zone to keep them busy! Browse the work of local artisans, shop our merchant vendors and sample fare from our famous Five-Star Food Court. Best of all, learn more about the wonderful LGBTQ and ally nonprofits that are doing important work in the community. Admission is FREE, so join us for an amazing day!
Entertainment. Our Main Stage features outstanding national and local talent that’s “built for grownups, safe for kids.” North Jersey Pride performers have included Monifah Carter, Michelle Chamuel, A Great Big World, Antigone Rising, Bea Miller, De’Borah Garner, RANGE, Scott Nevins, the Well-Strung Quartet, Lavender Light Gospel Choir, Jessica Kirson and more. Click here to see this year’s incredible lineup!
Vendor Court. Our bustling vendor court includes merchants, artists, nonprofit exhibitors and purveyors of Pride paraphernalia! Download a vendor application and market your wares to 5,000+!
Kids’ Zone. The North Jersey Pride Festival is a family-friendly event. We have tons of fun planned for our youngest visitors. This year, in addition to crafts, inflatables, face-painting, and tattoos, and back by popular demand, we have our live Interactive Kids Stage, with entertainment and activities every hour on the hour to keep your kids busy all day while you enjoy Pride! Have an act that would be perfect for the kids stage? We’d love to hear about it!
Food Court. Our Five-Star Food Court is a highlight of the North Jersey Pride Festival. We showcase the best of our local eateries, offering gourmet edibles rather than the usual street fare. Apply to join our Food Court!
Getting Here. Maplewood is conveniently located directly across from the Maplewood Train Station (get the NJ Transit train schedule), and just a 7-minute ride off the Garden State Parkway and Route 78. Wherever you’re coming from, we can get you here.
Make a donation. Help us keep the festival FREE and open to the public by making a tax-deductible donation! Just click on the donate button on the right side of the page (or scroll down on your mobile device). No donation is too small—we can’t tell you how much we appreciate your support!
