The Pride Guide

The Official North Jersey Pride Guide is much more than just a program of Pride Month events. Filled with timely news articles about legislative and social issues critical to the LGBTQ community, it’s also must-read journalism. In addition to feature articles, we also include guest columns from leaders of pro-LGBT organizations and hear from straight allies about why they are so deeply committed to equality.

Why should you advertise?

1) Because LGBTQ audiences respond strongly to targeted advertising with a high level of brand recognition and recall—and, ultimately, loyalty. In our own survey of Pride attendees we found that:

        • 97% said they would be more likely to purchase a product or service from a company that supported Pride;

        • 65% said they already had purchased a product or service from a North Jersey Pride sponsor or advertiser because of their LGBTQ support.

To put it more simply, when Pride-goers see your ad in our Pride Guide, they get the warm fuzzies—and they make a mental (or actual) note to patronize your business.

2) Because your ad purchase gives back to the community to which you cater. Both sponsorships and ad sales are critical to our mission to keep the Pride Festival free and open to all.  The proceeds also support the RAD Family program and will help us get our LGBTQ teen group off the ground. So in other words, you gain a business advantage while supporting a cause you believe in. It's a win-win-win.
