Youth Pride and Family Picnic

Th 1st Annual SOMA Youth Pride and Family Picnic will be held at the gazebo next to Hilton Library and across from Maplecrest Park off Springfield Ave. in Maplewood.

This event was created by youth for youth and families with performances, entertainment, games and activities with various youth groups and organizations. We will also be raising the Pride and Transgender flags on Springfield Ave. for the first time. Please bring a blanket and a picnic lunch or visit one of the many Springfield Ave. establishments for take out and come with your family and friends. Food trucks will also be available. (And thanks to a generous donation limited FREE pizza, water and snacks will also be available to make this event accessible to all.)

FREE and all are welcome! Event also accessible by NJ Transit Bus Service.
