Meet The Team

C.J. is North Jersey Pride's executive director. She began dreaming of a family-friendly, "Built for Grownups, Safe for Kids" LGBTQ Pride celebration in 2010 after struggling to push a double stroller down Fifth Avenue during NYC Pride. The following year, Pride was born as a small community picnic, and quickly grew, drawing families and young people from across the state. C.J. is also a business journalist by day and has written for dozens of national publications. She lives with her two amazing daughters and a very energetic Australian Labradoodle named Cooper.

Keldrick is a North Jersey Pride board member, co-director of the North Jersey Pride Run, talent wrangler for the NJ Pride Festival stage, and the Man Most Likely to Help With Everything. He is also the founder of WILO NJ, a nonprofit that enables persons with disabilities to enjoy life more independently, providing  a variety of services and programs such as overnight respites, weekend travel and socialization, housing and other initiatives. Keldrick lives in Maplewood with his husband, Eddie and their two beautiful children.
