Volunteer with Pride
North Jersey Pride is an all-volunteer organization and we can't do it without you!
When you volunteer, you're not just a part of the crew; you're part of a family that's all about making everyone feel welcome and celebrated. You get to help make the event a blast for everyone, and we think you'll have just as much fun (if not more) doing it.
Whether you're setting things up, guiding folks around, or just being there with a friendly smile, you're showing your support and making a real difference. Plus, it's a great way to meet new people and be part of something truly special. So, if you're up for some fun and want to spread some love and positivity, come join us as a volunteer at Pride festival. Let's make it a Pride season to remember, together!
Pride Festival on June 9th
The North Jersey Pride Festival is one of the largest family-friendly LGBTQ Pride celebrations in the tristate. We're planning our biggest celebration yet, and we can't make it happen without the generosity of people like you! Below are descriptions of some of the jobs we need help with during the Festival:
Setup/Vendor Check-In
Pre-Event assistance for set up and vendor check-in. You may be asked to help set up the NJP booth, show a vendor to their spot or help a vendor with setup. This position will require some walking.
NJP Information Table
Have a seat under our NJ Pride tent next to the stage! Be the face of North Jersey Pride as you assist attendees with FAQs, Lost and Found, and Volunteer Check-in from the purple tent at the bottom of the hill. This is a largely seated position.
NJP Merchandise Tent
Be in the middle of all the action in our Big Purple Tent at the top of the hill! Assist us in selling T-Shirts and other cool NJP Merch to help raise money for LGBTQ+ Youth Programs. This position will require some standing and booth can be very busy at times.
Kid Zone Tent
Nestled under the shady tent in front of the Kid Zone, you will have a perfect view of the stage as you help sell wristbands for inflatable rides and face painting tickets to grateful parents! This is a largely seated position.
Questions? Give our Volunteer Coordinator, Dillon, a shout and let him know you're interested in helping out!
